SMRC Claims 3rd in D1 SOCAL
Whoever won the game would claim 3rd place in division 1 Southern California. LARC and SMRC came in tied.

Coach Gibbon went chose the penalty kick deep in LARC territory at 76 minutes and Nate Hall nailed it to give SMRC the lead 20-19 with 4 minutes left.
Off the ensuing kick off, SMRC went 4 phases until Badra Wilson slashed and dashed his way to a 70 meter try giving Santa Monica a try and the win. Nate Hall with the conversion.
Santa Monica wins 27-19.
SMRC D1 ended up 7-7 on the year and earned a hard fought 3rd place in the highly competitive division.
