SMRC Youth Storm Sacramento

On the club’s first ever youth tour, SMRC’s Boys U14, U16, & U19
trekked to Northern California this past weekend, joining 130 other
teams at the Sacramento Valley Rugby Association’s Kick Off
Tournament, one of the nation’s largest youth rugby events with over
2500 players participating.

The Dolphins were a try away from sweeping their opposition: U14s and
U16s both went 3-0, the latter keeping their opponents scoreless; and
while the U19s lost their first game by a penalty kick, they only gave
up 10 points the entire day.

Over 50 players, 7 coaches, and a myriad of parents represented the
Green Machine.
