U18 Walsh Heads to Argentina with HSAA

SMRC U18 fly half, Alex Walsh, has one more tournament on his schedule before he heads to Arizona State University in August to play rugby and study Criminology.  Walsh was selected for the U18 USA High School All American (HSAA) 15s team for a 20 day summer 2014 tour of Argentina where they will play Italy, Uruguay, Argentina and Cordoba Academy.   Walsh co-captained the SMRC U18 team which won the SoCal Championships this year and were runners up at the High School Nationals in Indiana.  He played for the SoCal Select Sides (the Griffins) for the past 2 years and represented the USA in January, 2014 on the U18 USA HSAA 7s team in Las Vegas.  [read more here]
